12 MERRIAMS WILD TURKEY HATCHING EGGS ***

Description

Bidding on  12 eggs from the MERRIAMS Wild Turkey.
We have been raising the MERRIAMS Wild turkeys since 2014. We have 2 unrelated flocks.
One flock came from the area around the Oregon Trail Wildlife Park in Soda Springs, Id.
The other flock came from River Valley Ranch in Rochester, Washington.
We have 18 hens and 6 toms in our 2  flocks.
The Merriams wild turkey { Meleagris gallopavo merriami } is found primarily in the ponderosa pine, western mountain regions of the United States.
The Merriams were named by Dr. E. W. Nelson in 1900 in honor of C. Hart Merriam, the first chief of the U.S. Biological Survey.
Adult males are clearly distinguished from the Eastern, Florida Osceola and the Rio Grande by the nearly white feathers on the lower back and tail feather margins.
Its size is a bit smaller than the Eastern Wild Turkey, but has a blacker appearance with blue, purple and bronze reflections.
They are very hardy and live well here in temperatures down to 0 degrees.

I am a licensed State of Illinois NPIP inspector #1014 and I can assure you this flock is clean.
I can not guarantee the eggs to hatch. Fertility last year was excellent, but when the eggs are shipped I have no control over how they are handled over the trip,
incubated at your farm or other factors that can harm hatchability.
I do fertility checks every week during laying season.  So far fertility is running 98%
The eggs will be no older than 3 days old at auction end and packed securely so you have the best chance of hatching.
Any eggs that arrive broken in shipment, I will issue a refund for the broken eggs or replace them at my
discretion. I will need pictures of the broken eggs.
If temperature along trip to you is freezing, I will enclose a Heat pack
