Argentinian contract M1891 bayonet by W.K.S.

In this auction you will be bidding on a pre world war I Argentinian contract bayonet by W.K.S.. this bandit was part of the contract with Mauser to provide arms and bayonets to the Argentine government. When is bayonets were decommissioned by the government the Argentinian seal was defaced by grinding it off. There is some metal stuffing on the hand grip and pummel. Other than that this bayonet and scabbard are in excellent condition. You can still smell the preservative oil on the blade. There's no wiggle in this bayonet. Aluminum scales are riveted to the bayonet. Attachment hardware works perfectly. Scabbard still retains 99% of his original blue finish. Scabbard holds the bayonet tightly in place.
