OOAK NIADA Wee Paulson - Hallelujah - 1982

This wonderful creation by Wee Paulson has a great deal of action and detail.   The base, the organ and stool one monk sits on all have her tags.   The underside of the stool also reveals the polka dot underwear of the monk!    The organ pipes detach from the base and totally is 13" high.  The figures (felt) are 10" high  The base is 11-1/2" x 12-1/2".   The figures are in excellent condition with only marks on the seated monk's hands where he had been glued to the organ stops.   Once in your home, a quick touch of glue remedies that.   The only other damage is that her handmade candle has become detached from the candle base.   Again this is easily remedied with glue.  What cannot be remedied is the missing mouse.  Per the Kimport ad, there were two handmade mice.  There is only one now, but so well made and adorable and two handmade bellows to pump the organ.  The original selling price by Kimport was 5.   I have had several of the artists' pieces, but think the cleverness and detail of this is wonderful. The standing monk has intended holes in his feet to go into two pins that have been put into the base.    A super addition to your collection whether it be for a Christmas display, a Wee Paulson or NIADA collector.  The organ and figures all come off the base to make storage easy in smaller box in case using as a Christmas decoration.  The base size remains the same, but box would need to be about 5" high to contain all, not the height above.    Thanks for looking at this wonderful piece.
