    Description

Vintage 1940 Backstage Earl Carroll 3D Tru-Vue Film Reel 1303 Stereoview Burlesque
    ____________________________________________________________
I have been collecting 3D media for the last 30 years and finally decided it's time to part ways with some of my favorite things. This is one of the hardest to find Key Reels and most desirable Tru Vue films ever made.
Please see my other listings for the others.
"A NIGHT AT EARL CARROLL'S  Featuring the most beautiful Girls in the World"
...was the slogan for this popular Hollywood theater. For more details on the Earl Carroll and his Burlesque Theater,
please see earlcarrollgirls com website - it's full of cool information and has several vintage photos. This reel is a little
risque for the times... It is a 3D picture set that rival company View-Master, would never have done!
    Condition:
The film is in excellent condition. I have personally gone through it with white gloves to inspect every frame and every
film cog of the 14 paired stereo images, and all looks great!
The original red / silver box has all flaps attached but does have a very small amount of shelf wear as
can be seen in my photos - this is to be expected from a small box that has been around for almost 74 years. I have
tried my best to photograph every aspect of the box and film. Please check them out and if you have any questions,
please email! For those interested in viewing these I would suggest pulling them slowly through the viewer rather than
using the advance. This is how the cogs get torn.
    Thanks for looking!
The photo of the advertisement for Earl Carroll's is one that I found while researching the reel - IT IS NOT PART OF THIS LISTING.
